The Most Blessed, Her Beatitude, Metropolitan Olga, Archbishop of the Great Lakes and All America, First Hierarch and Metropolitan, Primate of the Autocephalous Universalist Orthodox Church.  Her Beatitude, Metropolitan Olga is seated at Joy of All Who Sorrow Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio.

From an early age Her Beatitude has been involved in Eastern Orthodoxy, and not long after high school entered a monastery where she was tonsured.  After a period, Her Beatitude left the monastery and the canonical church for several reasons, primarily theological in nature.  It is her experience in the monastery as well as her devotion to the church that led to her Ordination, Elevation to Abbess for the "Monastery without Walls", and Consecration and Enthronement as First Hierarch, Metropolitan, and Primate of the Universalist Orthodox Church.  Her Beatitude came out as transgender and after her consecration became the first transgender Orthodox Bishop in the world, as such the full inclusion of the LGBT community in church life and structure is one of her main focuses in her ministry.

The consecration of Her Beatitude, Metropolitan Olga, Archbishop of the Great Lakes and All America, Primate of the Autocephalous Universalist Orthodox Church to the office of the Holy Episcopate was conferred by The Most Reverend Kristina Rake, Archbishop Primate of the American Apostolic Old Catholic Church on June 30th, 2018.  With the Apostolic Succession lines documented below, we recognize Her Beatitude, Metropolitan Olga as being:

  • 172nd in succession from St. Andrew the Apostle

  • 163rd in succession from St. James the Apostle

  • 151st in succession from St. Thaddaeus the Apostle

  • 131st in succession from St. John the Apostle
